EOS Rebel T6 Photos Don't Show Up on iPhone

I am able to connect my EOS Rebel T6 to my iPhone to try to download photos to my phone, but when I try to select them for download on my phone, no photos are present.

Your post isn't very clear. Can you control the camera via the canon connect app? Can you browse photos on the camera when the app is connected?

No. That’s the problem. When I use the app to try to choose the photos that I want to download to the phone, none appear. I can view the photos on the camera so I know they are there, but they do No appear when I use the app to choose the photos to download.
