canon 5d mark iv problem with it stops taking pictures

My canon 5d mark iv today just stopped taking pictures. I changed the batteries it worked for 2 or 3 picts and then stopped. If i shut off and turn on i can take 1 pict. This keeps going this way.

Any thoughts

Welcome to the forums Randy, does your camera show any error codes when it shuts down. What kind of lenses are you using 1st party Canon EF lenses or 3rd party lenses ie Tamron or Sigma.
