New Camera Recommendation

Hi, I need to purchase a new camera. Can anyone recommend a Canon model that meets the following criteria: digital camera capable of shooting in manual mode with RAW files, accepts a variety of camera lens(es), takes a memory card (CF, SD), and is compatible with external HDD/SSD drives. Thank you!

That's effectively any camera. What specifically do you wish the capture? Portraits? Sports? Wildlife? Taking a photography class? All of the above?

And what is your budget?

Thank you for your quick reply. This is helpful. Now that I know this describes many types of cameras, I realize I can start by asking friends for something to borrow for this class I'm taking ~ then maybe purchase after I learn more. Thanks again!

While rs-eos is correct, no Canon camera I am aware of is

Whatever this means.

I took that to mean the ability to save photos to external storage. If it was literally to connect the camera to a portable hard drive, yea, that won't work.
