Thank you so much for this. I will try using the SD card, I was just using the USB cable.

So I just updated my camera to the 1.0.3 firmware and then saw there was a new firmware for 1.1.0 But now my camera won't let me add any new firmware. It works just fine, it connects to my computer like always. But when I try to do a firmware update the screen on my camera goes black and won't show the screen to accept and upload the firmware.

Anyone have this issue before? How do I fix it?

Are you trying to update with a USB cable or SD card?

The most reliable method, IMHO, is with an SD card. Be sure to use a freshly formatted SD card. Make sure that it only contains one firmware file and that it is in the root directory
