Registering an EOS 5D Mark IV from Japan

Hi everybody! I'm new here and I have a question. I bought a 5D Mark IV camera overseas (Japan). I tried to register it on the Canon site but since it was from Japan, the site wouldn't let me register it in the US. I know the warranty is not valid here but is there anyway I can list the camera with my other equipment on the site? Thanks for any help.

Since it is not warranty-able, what's the point of registering/listing it?

Just so it will be registered with my other equipment on the site. It would be nice to have that list all in one place.

You can keep your own list anywhere. It appears Canon doesn't let non-USA equipment to be registered at Canon USA.
