When will there be another firmware update for Canon EOS RP

Im just curious, is there any plans for a new firmware update for the RP? any rumors? did canon quietly stop supporting that particular camera? looks like the last update was 2 years ago. anyone have any news?

It depends. If you are looking for new features to be added, then do not hold your breath.

If there needs to be some sort of bug that needs to be corrected, then I would expect there to be a firmware update. The camera has been on the market for more than a little bit. I suspect that any and all bugs have already been discovered and shaken out of the firmware.

that would make sense, other than the camera was released in 2019 and the last firmware update was 2020. I wouldn't think that within a year of release, they covered every and all there is to cover
