topic Canon R6 - Missing feature in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Hi Forum,

Just got back from Africa and wanted to share a feature I would find very useful:

- The control ring should be able to pick the auto focus mode (People, Animals, Vehicle, None)

Often I found the need to quickly switch the mode and too slow to go into a menu to do it.

Have not found a suitable way to contact Canon for feature suggestions, so here it is.
Hope Canon is monitoring this site (oh and they really need to up their game on user voices).

Best regards
...

FWIW, I have assigned these modes to the C1-3 custom modes with other specific settings according to the type of subject. Hope it will help in the meantime...

Nice shortcut although I alway find that I can't remember which c is assigned what 🙂

Also I think the viewfinder should show how the AF mode is setup.

Thank you anyway - will try out the c1-c3 trick to see if it works for me 👍
