Hello! I have a canon rebel t8i with a 50mm f/1.8 lens and the camera is zoomed in. I can’t figure out the setting to unzoom. Played around with ratio etc and nothing is working.

You have a fixed focal length lens and on a crop sensor camera like the Rebel it gives the field of view like a short telephoto lens.

There is nothing you can do to change that. If you want a wider view you need to get an 18-55 or 18-135 zoom lens.
