topic EOS 70D connecting wirelessly to MacBook Air - Utility 3 installed, needs Utility 2? in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Hi all!

It has been a year or more since I picked up my EOS 70D and since then I purchased a new MacBook Air. Currently running 11.3.1 Big Sur. I just installed the EOS Canon Utilities and Utility 3 installed without a hitch, but when I tried to connect my camera wirelessly I got an error message from my computer saying that I need to install Utility 2. I tried to find EOS Utility 2 to install but the only download I found wouldn't install because it wasn't compatible with my MacBook OS. No USB options on these computers so I'm struggling for download ideas other than going backwards and getting a card reader to carry around.

Any experience with this? Any suggestions? Thank you so much,

JB

I think if you download version 3.13 from the Big Sur OS page version 2 will also be installed.
