topic Canon with Mac Big Sur in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Upgraded to a new Macbook Pro with Big Sur and I'm not able to download my photos from my Rebel XTi. Granted my Rebel is dated but still perfectly works for my needs. It appears Canon doesn't support Big Sur for any of the EOS cameras. Is there a work around to download my files? Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Your computer has a program built into the operating system called Image Capture. This program would eb able to import your images from your memory card plugged into a USB CF card reader. You may also be able to import to Image Capture directly through teh camera if the camera's menu option for "Communication" is set to PTP but a CF card reader may be a more streamlined method.
