I got this Canon EOS M50 and every time I take a picture the screen goes dark. The camera is still on as indicated by the tiny green light & the LCD looks on, but it is dark and doesn’t display anything. I cannot click any other buttons, not even the menu or review buttons... Nothing happens - I can’t see my screen. I have also tried resetting the settings on the camera several times to no success. Even if I turn the power button off, it remains the same. It only goes back if I remove & put back in my battery.

Does anyone face similar issues?

Anyone know any fixes to this problem?

Just to ask something obvious, did you use the INFO button to cycle through the displays as per P67 of your user manual.? One of those options is a blank screen.
