    <description>&lt;P&gt;In the 1980s Canon had a line of film cameras named T50, T60, T70, T80, and T90.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don’t believe the “T” in the current Canon EOS Rebel series really stands for anything. Only North American EOS Rebel cameras use the “T” naming convention as the same cameras are named “Kiss” in Japan, and “xxxD” in Europe.
