EOS R LCD black

Hey- my brand new EOS R LCD screen is completely black. The sounds work when I press it but no picture. The EFV is working. I’ve tried pressing the info button but to no avail. Any tips or recommendations? Thanks!

Good day and welcome to the forum...
It could be a case that the viewfinder has been turned off or set so dim as to be unreadable. First, using the LCD at the back of the camera, go through the menu and reset the camera to factory defaults - the instructions are in the manual, should be on P419.

Hey Tronhard!

I'm having this same issue with a new EOS R. I've tried factory resetting and messing with other settings. Nothing seems to be working.
