70D Live View Mode Not Working

All of a sudden Live View Mode doesn't work on my 70D. Setting is enabled. Pictures show on my screen for a few seconds after it's taken, but screen is black while taking pictures even when shutter release button pressed down half way. Any ideas on why this might be happening?

Is exposure stimulation turn on/off? does the photo taken look dark? You can try to reset it to factory default.

1. Menu

2. Fifth red tab to the right and second row down.

3. AF Method should be something other than "Quick Mode".

I just purchased a 77D body; after attaching my lens, I found the Live View didn't work. The screen works for menu and even for video, but no still photography. Eventually I took off the lens, a Tamron16-300 that I love, and put on the kit 55mm. Bingo--it works. Try changing lenses. I need to see if there's a software problem.

i have had my 70d for a couple years now everything works but it will not rotate the Live View switch to the still-photography or movie mode.

Does anyone know how i can get it unstuck so it ould rotate again????

i feel like the buttons got cold and now its stuck
