Hi,

I just got my Canon R5 and Sony Tough CFExpress 128GB card.

If I take 10 photos quickly and then quickly change to movie mode and try to record 4K - I have BUSY for up to 20 seconds before I can hit record. Is this normal?

I have low-level formatted the card and also tested other SD cards. I have no issues filming in 8K RAW or 4K 120fps. But there is this really annoying "BUSY" everytime I go from shooting photos quickly to video recording. What is going on? Is it normal?

Yes, because the buffer has to empty completely. It can take some time to process images, especially if you have DLO on.
