R6 Rest / Lag Issue

I have both an R5 and R6. Sometimes I use them both covering events and love them both. I updated my firmware last night and was using both cameras today. New issue I am having is when I was using the R5 and then wanted to switch to the R6 there is a "lag" in the autofocus system and ability to take a photo for like 4 to 5 seconds resulting in loss of certain shots I was trying to get. The R6 was on and the viewfinder worked, however ther was no information visible and no response to get focus points or anything when I push the shutter botton.

Any help or advice out there?
