R5 Histogram question

I just bought the R5 and I have question about the histogram. I'm also new to Canon in general so this is probably a me problem. In both the view finder and the display screen the histogram has 5 sections but only the left three are registering any information. The two on the right are grayed and do not display any information. Is this a setting I'm missing? Thanks for your input.

Are your images very dark? The right-hand portion of a histogram would only be filled if there are brighter areas in the image.

Do you have an example image along with its histogram?

I accidentally found the answer. I'm still not sure if it should behave this way but when I disabled the HDR PQ setting the histogram behaved the way i expected. I found this because I was testing the electronic shutter and that isn't available with the HDR PQ enabled. I appreciate the response I would be curious if yours behaves in the same way.
