EOS R5 AF3 Tab

I would like to know if each of the cases in this tab represents; 1) A unique firmware module that can be tweeked with changes in tracking sensivity and accel/decel tracking; or 2) Regardless of the case selected, the firmware is the same but with different settings for tracking sensivity and accel/decel tracking. In other words, if I change the default settings for case 1 to the default settings for case 4, are they the same. The answer is probably someplace obvious but I haven't been able to find it.

The answer is yes. All the cases represent is Canon's choice of the best settings for the verbal description of the case intent.
