I have been shooting Canon 20 years now. Had a dozen SLR bodies. This is my jump into mirrorless. This seems high for noise. I processed the crap out of this to reduce the noise down to this. Is it me or should I give Canon a shout? I have had this body 2 weeks. The lens is a 15-35mm. So good glass. The RAW file was worse with noise.

You're really zoomed in there; beyond 100% so the size of the noise is being exaggerated.

This is also at ISO 400. Personally, I don't see any issues.

If you want the lowest noise, use ISO 100.

Me neither. As always, a raw sample is easier to check.

Is that really noise we're seeing? In some ways it looks more like compression artifacting. Is it still visible if you save the image as a .PSD or TIFF?
