Hi the button no longer works, not sure if it's been indented in too much as it is no longer flush with the other button. Please can someone suggest any ideas of rectifying this.

Check if its stuck becasue of a substance or a piece of sand. Try using a business card corner and run it around the button to see if that helps.

I had that problem once and it freed up the button using that approach.

Hi there,

I think the business card around the edges suggestion is a good one. Otherwise, the button may no longer be flush with it's switch like you said and repair would be necessary to resolve it.

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/service-repair
