Seriel Number

I just purchased a 5D Mark IV and am trying to register. I do not see the number on the bottom of the camera. Is it listed somewhere else? It should be above Canon Inc. I believe but it's not there. Bought it at Best Buy a reputable place.

The serial number should be on the box that the camera came in, and it should match the one in your photo.

I found it. Thanks. It was that bottom number and not at the top as I thought it would be. I didn't see it on the box though. Not sure why.

Now that you are all set you should probably delete the photo with your S/N.

It usually isn't printed on the box but is a sticky label. Likely with the bar code. It should also be on your Best Buy receipt.
