Connects to my phone momentarily then disconnects. I’ve tried resetting the camera and re installing cannon connect but has no solver the problem

I’m replying to myself.I sorted this out. I have a VPN on the phone and disabled it and it connected to the camera. It’s a real gotcha

Thats correct. VPN's are designed to route all traffic through their own network... unless you you have the option of "allowing" traffic on the local LAN.

Some VPN clients have this option, and some do not.
