Weird Pixel issue

I have a Canon EOS Rebel T5i Digital SLR with 18-55mm STM Lens and I'm experiencing a weird pixel issue. When I go into film mode, I have a red pixel in the middle of my screen and I just can't get rid of the darn thing. I've tried sensor cleansing and any help would be appreciated. The weird thing is that when I go to take a photo, the red pixel dissappears but a dead blue pixel pops up on the left side of the camera.

If it's not showing up in your digital files I wouldn't worry about it.

You never actually "clean" a sensor. Are you sure it isn't the focus point?
