There was definitely a card in the camera with images on it from shooting without live mode. I did notice that 'EXP SIM" was flashing when shooting live mode but not recording images.

I was out shooting this morning...early, and I wanted to shoot using live mode but found that when I did the images weren't saved to my SD Card. Can someone tell me why?

Thank you.

Hello beckatz,

The card should probably be checked or replaced with a new one as a first troubleshooting step. The camera can shoot without a card in the camera, and it's possible this was the cause, but if you're sure that there was a card inserted then the camera should have recorded the images. If another card exhibited this same issue then you might want to consider sending the camera into the service center for evaluation.

You can set up service through our web site, here.
