Taking your question literally, you put the CD into the MBP and it should self-start. If not, click on the popup icon.

If your problem goes beyond that please provide more info.

The MacBookPro does not have an Optical Drive (CD, DVD.) DUH!

Appe ditched the old 15" MacBook Pro but kept the old 13" MacBook Pro, with the HDD and Super Drive (OD), for the student market.

You can download the full contents of the bundled CD. Canon makes this available for those with computers that do not have an optical drive.

The text in parentheses (which shows up if you hover your mouse over the link) reads "(For users who cannot use the bundled CD)"
