Hello formercoach,

We do not support a program called EOS Count nor is there a Canon supported method other than service to obtain the shot count. There are no reliable methods other than to have you send Canon the camera at our service facility. If you would like to do this, you can set up service through our web site below.

EOS Rebel SL1

When I connect my EOS SL1 to my computer with the USB cord I get a flashing computer logo on the rear LCD screen.

I am trying to open the EOSCount to see the shutter count. Any ideas?
