Availability of the EOS 7D MarkII in Canada

Would anyone know the reason why it seems to be impossible to obtain a 7d MarkII in Canada? It looks like canon usa and ca are all out of stock of this camera!

A possible explanation is that Canon has stopped making them. And that might mean that the Mk III is imminent. (Or conceivably the R7?)

I am almost certain Canon stopped manufacturing them a while back, maybe a couple of years. There was a rumor some 12-18(?) months ago that Canon had discontinued the 7d Mark II. As it turned out, the "body only" kits were being discontinued, probably because production of new units had stopped.

The only "body only" kits that are still available for many months have bodies with the Wi-Fi SD card. It seems to me that the supply of those should be running out soon, too. This is what has been available in the US. Maybe Canada has already run out of them.

Just bought one at adencamera in Toronto with kit lens .
