T4i: loses video focus with 1.0.4 firmware

Hi, folks!

I searched the forum, but didn't find any solution for my problem. Couple days ago, I update from 1.0.1 to 1.0.4 (ok, yes I know).

Apparently, everything was fine until I tried focus while recording video. I mean: half-press the shutter button and the green squares shows up and all the jazz. Before (1.0.1) worked as usual, now… nope.

And, no I don't want use Movie Servo AF and Faces+Tracking. Becasue, before wasn't necessary and movie servo AF isn't that helpful (and loud, my lens isn't new).

The funnt thing is: if I use Back-Button Auto Focus (Custom Function), the function works (I mean: focusing with the back-button while recording)! In my scenario, it isn't helful.

Any tip? Or the firmware is supposed to work this way?

UPDATE

Nevermind. Formatted the SD card (I don't if influences) and cleared all the setting. The magic came back, yay! But… I wasted so much time, hahahahah
