When I first got my camera and took multiple pictures, when downloading them to my computer they loaded 50 pictures to a folder. Now when I load my pictures to my computer it loads each individual picture in a separate file. Is there a way to change the storage settings on the camera so that multiple pictures in one folder?

I don't know. I just plug the camera into the computer with a USB cable and then a box pops up with the pictures in it. I just drag them to an external hard drive folder on the computer.

sunshine1580,

There is not a setting in the camera that affects where the images are downloaded to. The camera stores each of its images in large numbers in folders on the card. If it is anything like our own, the software you are using reads the date each was taken, and if set to do so, downloads them and puts them into separate folders for each of the shooting dates. You will need to adjust the download settings in the program you are using to download the images.

What program are you using to download the images?

If this is a time sensitive-matter, additional support options are available at Contact Us.

Win 8 and an XT do not play well together.

The camera has an transfer protocol, PTP, you should have this set. Set the Communication setting to PTP. Connect to the PC and turn the camera on.
