I am now being asked for a Pw to connect my 80D with my Android Samsung A50...have no idea what the PW is or how to access it. Never had to do this before. Need help ..thanks.

If you're using the Canon Camera Connect App, you shouldn't need any passwords to access your files.

You'll want to verify you're using our app - you'll see screenshots of it on our site here: http://Canon.us/ejs48

There is also a link to the Apple Appstore and Google Play Store toward the bottom of the page.

I am using the Canon connect app...use to not need a PW and but now asking for it....I uninstalled the app and then installed it again & rebooted the phone and still asking for PW.

The process to connect the Canon Connect App to your 80D has not changed.

Confirm the password the camera is using and enter that into your mobile device when prompted.
