have rebel xt purchaced 7/2007 works great but upgraded my computor to windows 7 will not download computor teck said need change something on menu on camera. he did it and it worked but didnt say what did because it back same not downloading

Just buy & use a card reader. That avoids many issues.

It is PTP in the menus but it will be slow. The card reader is the way to go.
