You can set all those items on the camera w/o EOS Utility if you want.

Hi,

I've just purchased an EOS 1200D and I'm following the manual/tutorial and want to set up things like clock etc.

The manual sends me to the EOS utility (version 2.0), tells me to click on the "Set-up menu" and shows me a list of options enabling me to set name, date time etc

When I follow the tutorial, the only option lit up is "Live view/Movie func. set.". Is this the only option I can set? I've no idea as it's a new purchase and I don't know if the manual is generic to a whole range of cameras or just for my model.

Thanks for answering. Yes, I set it up on the camera itself but this being the first modern camera Ive used I have no idea whether there's something broken if the manual says one thing, but real life proves something totally different lol.

Ill assume the manual isn't accurate for now
