EOS Rebel T3 Led screen only has black and white grainy lines across and controls are frozen Help

When camera is powered on none of the focusing controls work and the LED screen has only black and White grainy lines across it. Tried removing battery to reboot made no difference. If you have any idea what is happening your help would be appreciated a lot.

DId you drop it or get it wet? Call Canon Service.

BTW, the battery will have to be removed for a week or so to completely reset the camera that way.

Thanks for the reply, no the camera was not dropped or gotten wet . I will leave the battery out for the week and see if that works. Thanks again.
