Hello All,

I am having a problem on a Canon 5D Mk IV whereby some white light streak is appearing on most photos - taken both indoors and outdoors.. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Yup. It looks like a bad shutter. Shutters are delicate mechanisms. Getting dirt between the blades can severely damage the assembly.

Many thanks @wadizzle for the info.. I guess for this I may have to seek assistance from a Canon service center

Although that isn't a classic example of a failed shutter, it probably is. A call to Canon is in order to make sure. Set up a C&C and tell them what it is doing. 1 (800) 652-2666
