      <description>Sure. The 1000d, like all Rebels, takes any EF or EF-s mount lens. That includes all current (last 20+ years) canon DSLR lenses, and also lenses made for the Canon EF or EF-s mount by 3rd parties like Rokinon, Bower and Samyang (which are all 3 the same company) who make all manual focus (non-autofocus) lenses. Be sure if you get one that it is the made-for-Canon version, not the version for Nikon, Sony, etc...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I was assuming you were looking for inexpensive ones. If you wanted to pay thousands you could get a Zeiss lens, as they are all manual focus too.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Of course any autofocus lens can also be used in manual focus mode by turning the AF off. That way you have the choice.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What focal length prime are you looking for? 24? 35? 50? 85? 135? Etc?</description>
