Use the viewfinder, instead of Live View.

A reset of the camera to factory defaults should not have reset any custom controls. Custom controls have their own separate reset, as do a couple of other things.

Hello everyone,,

On my EOS-70D, when I used to press the AF button on the right side of the top of the camera, I’d get options for One Shot, AI Focus, and AI Servo. Now, after resetting the defaults using [Clear all camera settings], I get the following AF options: Tracking, FlexiZone – Multi, FlexiZone – Single, and Quick Mode. What happened? How do I get it to show One Shot, AI Focus, and AI Servo?

Besides clearing all settings, which is misleading I know because it doesn't, you need to go here...........

The Custom Functions menu on your 70D, which is available only when the Mode dial is set to P, Tv, Av, M, B, or C, you will see some submenus. One is "Clear all custom functions", you need to do that in addition.
