Screen won't display

I recently went to the beach and when I took my camera out of my bag (this was the first time I had taken it out all trip) I managed to take a few pictures and then I noticed the display screen was completely black and wouldn't show up. I noticed that the battery was running low so I charged it anf then tried to use it again, but the screen is still black. Also, when the camera is on it is making a constant beeping noise. I am using a Canon eos rebel t3.

Please help.

Did you press the "DISP" button? Try pressing it again if you did.

Yes, I've hit all of the buttons and still nothing works.
