      <title>5D mark iv remote shutter automatically firing</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My newly purchased 5D mark iv is randomly triggering the shutter when a remote shutter is connected with the 3-pin connector.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As long as the cable is connected, it keeps triggering at seemingly random interval. Actually, it does this even when I don't have the remote device at the end of the cable -- just plugging in the cable starts this behavior.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would appreciate it if anyone has a potential solution or hints...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thakns for your comment! I checked the remote with another camera, and you are right, it looks like the bad cable doing it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will get a new cable and try.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
