Planning to purchase the 70D. Are my T3 lenses compatible or would new lenses be recommended? I have the 18-55 and the 75-300 that came in the T3 kit. I don't want to buy the whole kit for the 70D if the lenses are the same.

Yes your lenses will work.

The 70D and T3 cameras can both use _all_ EOS leneses *except* the "EF-M" lenses (designed for Canon's mirrorless camera).
