I noted in a previous post that someone ,I believe from Canon , suggested to go to the menu on camera then to wrench, hammer, 2 setting and make certain changes there that should work to correct problem. My camera does not have the same settings they listed under the wrench, hammer, 2 so i could not try that. I have downloaded the latest software from Canon. Do I need to give up and buy a compact flash reader or is there a fix? It used to be so easy when I had Windows XP. Thanks for any help.

"We still have a couple of XTi's kicking around at home ..."

Bob from Boston,

I had five (5) XTi's. I used thme but not too often as they were the loaners for the 2nd shooters. They have all been given away, now. A couple went to the grandkids that I imagine still have them?

I think I was on the 1D Mk II, or the Mk IIn, when they came out and I remember thinking it has more MP (10 I think?) than my 1 series did.
