topic The red focus point visible in post-prod doesn't seem like the sharpest point in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Maybe I am crazy, but when I look at this picture, I feel like the black square on the left in her hair is in focus and the area where the point is red seems blurry.

I was using 85mm f1.8 lens, aperture 2,8 and shutter speed 500. I don't know if it's an ajustment of the camera that needs to be done?

Thanks for any info!

You have to recognize that only one plane will be in correct focus. Even though two focus points are illuminated only one is controlling focus. Given the distance and wide aperture of your lens the lips and nose won't both be in focus. There is also much better contrast on the lips, so I am suspecting that is where the camera focused.

The nose is definitely not sharp. What is your assessment lips vs hair? I can't judge on my iPad.
