I have an EOS M6 and I need a remote release that will start/stop the video recording. Does anyone know of one?

The Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote Control will start and stop video on an EOS M6.

I did try the RC-6 and the RS60-E3 and an off-bread remote, none would fire the video even if the mode dial was in Video.

m hoping one of the off brands can do it?

EOS M6 drive mode should be set to "Remote Control" and the RC-6 should be set to mode 2 via the switch on its back.
