Hi Heeroz, I'm glad to assist you. Try recording a video with the Rode Mic. Next unplug the mic before playback. Does this make a difference? Thanks, Richard

Hello there! I am encountering an unusual problem with my Rebel T5i. I just got my Rode NTG-2 mic and I am using it for recording. However, whenever I playback the video on my camera, the volume is very low. However, the volume plays normal when I play it on PC. When I unplug the Rode NTG-2 and record using the on-board mic, it will playback loudly. Can someone help me out here? Thanks!

Hi there. I have tried that. I believe it is an issue because the microphone records in Mono instead of Stereo. Do you think getting a headset for the camera will solve this issue? Thank you.
