Yes, frustrating because its a great lens and would really help the M gain traction in the US. I got mine from Henry's Canada for $399. Pretty fast delivery to US once they got it in stock and it came with a USA/Canada registration card. Not sure what Canon was thinking by not offering it in the US. Perhaps waiting to see how the M2 does when they introduce that body...

Whenever you see a problem like this, follow the money. They likely don't see it as a money maker with the market so lack-luster for the M camera.

Maybe as the camera improves, it will gain more popularity here.

Can't you order form another source besides the USA?
