Hi I just bought a used t3i and when I turn LCD at AF mode and press half button for auto focus. The image comes and goes off on LCD to view finder and keep making a click noise. How can I auto focus on LCD? It auto focus on a blank LCD screen. Is it a defect or some setting proble? Plz help.

Does the camera work properly when taking pictures through the viewfinder?

I hate to say, but it sounds like you may have purchased a defective camera. Return it and get your money back, if it is not too late to do so. Forget about trying to fix this unit.

The Canon Online Store has an excellent refurbished department, where items are sold at 10-40% discount off of list prices and everyting I have looked at comes with a one year warranty.
