I can seem to find an answer to why my 5 month old camera freezes? I'm thinking I should have bought a Nikon. They don't seem to have this problem. I miss some very important pictures because of this problem. Seems only answer is to send in! Seems canon quality has sure fallen to the Kodak stage. If any one can help please let me know. Thank

This is usually caused by a problem with the SD card. For this reason, I avoid cheap cards.

I tend to buy SanDisk Extreme Pro cards (Lexar brand also have a solid reputation) and I never have these problems.
