EOS R Operation in Display Settings under the main menu

I have some suggest in Display Setting of EOS R menu.

Currently, if Display Setting -- Manuel -- Viewfinder is selected, the shooting view, menu, quick control and preview of photo are all swithched to the viewfinder. It is somewhat very difficulat to operate. I suggest that the shooting view can remain in the viewfinder, but the menu, quiick control and preview of photo have to be in LCD panel like other DSLR camera.

When I use the EOS R to shoot, I find it sometime to be a little to slow to switch between the viewfinder and LCD so I switch to manuel - viewfinder, but it will be not practical to change setting using the viewfinder.

They must have set it up that way for a reason. My guess is that keeping the viewfinder and the screen in operation at the same time would overtax the battery and possibly cause the camera to overheat.
