If Wifi is on, USB port doesn't work from what I know. How did you connect your camera to your desktop? The easiest set up is connect your camera and your desktop to the same router. Then turn on WTPairing, it should recognize your camera. Then open EOS Utility.

I am able to connect to my iPad using the Eos app but unable to connect to my desktop computer, prior to installing 8.1 the Eos utility would automatically start up but now the EU menu is greyed out apart from "monitor folder" I have set the Wi-Fi connection on the camera to Eos Utility, I also have the same problem when connected via usb, I have the latest updates for the Eos suite of programs.

I have connected via the same router, I have managed to connect but have set it up every time I.e. enter the router key each time I want to transfer photo wirelessly, there must be a way for the camera/computer to remember it
