    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do have a T1i that is working fine. A year ago, I used it connected with my computer (Windows 7) and that was fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now it seems that the HDMI port is off. I tried with 2 computers, no one has any signal from the camera. Windows answers me that there is no connection with the device, using Canon's program CameraWindow.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does someone has an idea if there is something to check / do on the camera to set up the HDMI port?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Michel&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You would normally connect the camera to the computer using a USB cable -- not HDMI. &amp;nbsp;HDMI is for connecting to an external HDMI monitor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure your USB cable is a data cable (because there are USB "charging" cables that don't bother to connect the data pins so the computer wouldn't see the camera if it's the wrong type of cable.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
