Canon Rebel EOS T3 12.2 MP

Does anyone know if I can get "prints on canvas", like from Shutterfly? I'm just curious if this camera has enough megapixels for

prints to be put on canvas in larger sizes. I'm new at photography so if I sound like an idiot, I apologize.

Don't feel wierd about the question...it is actually a legitimate one. The T3 has 12 MP, so that should give you just enough resolution for a 20x30 print. I wouldn't try printing to much larger. How large are you planning on?

Thank you for your help. I probably wouldn't go any larger than 20x30. I'm thinking a higher mega pixel camera may work better. I am now looking at the Canon Powershot SX500 IS. It has 16mp but probably not all the features of the Rebel. Thanks again for your help and any opinion on the SX500 is welcomed.
